Description

Oxford Supply Co specializes in traditional Nitrocellulose Lacquer for guitar builders, finishers, DIY’ers, kit builders, refinishers and repairs.

Our nitro is matched to some of the most classic guitar finishes from Gibson, Fender and others.

All aerosols come with two tips under the cap:
White Fan Tip – Produces a wide vertical fan pattern which mimics a spray gun, atomizing the lacquer at a very fine level. This tip is preferred for most applications for its consistent output, easy of use, and quick coverage. Recommended for spraying Sealer, Primer, Clear Coats and solid colors.

Red Cone Tip – Delivers a more focused, traditional, circular aerosol pattern. Very useful for spraying hard to reach areas like cutaways. Also allows for more control in spraying patterns such as sunbursts or headstock faces.

These items are only available to ship to the United States and Canada.

**Please note that due to the nature of the product, only Standard Ground shipping is available and will automatically be reflected at checkout.

Paint was good but is a more faded green than the sherwood green on my 59 AVRI.

This shipped quickly and was easy to use. There are a lot of “Sherwood Green” variations. This is on the aqua side, not the dark green. You could possible add tinted top coats to darken it. It might be helpful if the reviews lit you add an image. Overall, it’s a good product. The color is a bit more blue on my guitar than the color Swatch on the website.

As a first time user of aerosol I loved this product. Very beginner friendly and easy to apply. It is metallic so a little bit different than what I was going for (Fender vintage vibes). So I used this and the aged clear to create the sherwood green I was hoping for. Very happy with the result.
