Description
Unlike traditional humbuckers, the Saturday Night Special humbuckers are voiced to be a little hotter and fatter in the bridge position, and a little clearer and less “wooly” in the neck. They’re more aggressive than 50s-style models, but without the compression of most high gain pickups. The cleans are warm and musical while the overdriven tones cut through without being harsh in the highs or cloudy in the lows. These bridge the output level gap between vintage 50s and modern humbuckers, making this pickup set perfect for replicating those legendary late-70s arena rock tones.
The Saturday Night Special is made in Santa Barbara, California. They come standard with four-conductor wiring, maple spacer and short mounting legs.

These pickups are incredible! I can’t stop playing that one guitar since I installed them. It produces well-defined notes for all the strings whether played clean or distorted. It also produces the best distorted sound in all my humbucker equipped guitars. They are also relatively hot pickup and they stay fairly loud when I split the coils.I was on the wait list for a long time before I could get them but it was worth the wait. I see they are in stock as I write this. Good for you! I recommend them very highly.
