This product worked very well on my Dreadnought kit from Solo. It fit my Black and Decker rotary kit (also fits the Dremel tool). I cut a binding channel on back and front and a purfling channel on the front for a pre-bent herringbone purfling that I ordered from StewMac in order to bring a custom finish to my Hosco Dreadnought DIY Kit purchased from Solo. I used it with the guitar on the side instead of flat on the table in order to keep a good horizontal cut with one had on the rotary a tool and one hand on the guide pressed against the guitar side in order to get a good smooth cut. The shape of the tool made it very hard to make a bad cut. I had good channel cuts the first time. This was my first time using a tool like this in about 20 years, so I was very happy with the results.
