I bought this radius jig a couple of weeks ago. Frankly I wasn’t terribly optimistic but I thought I would give it a try. I have been building guitar’s occasionally for over forty years and have always sanded the radius. It’s a boring, tiring and time consuming job that I have always disliked. Generally a radius sanding took over two hours to rough sand and another half hour to clean it. Up and fine sand it.
The first time I used this jig I was astounded as to how efficient this thing is and especially pleased at what good job it did. This jig took a minimum of two and a half boring and tiring hours down to about fifteen minutes and produced a perfect fretboard.
I wish I had this jig years ago.
