Description
The notched straightedge has become a standard for evaluating fretboards. The notches fit right over the frets so you can check the straightness of the fretboard itself, without taking off the strings as well as the interference of worn or badly-seated frets.
One side is notched for Gibson “long scale”, plus Fender and Martin fretboards. The other side fits Gibson’s 24-3/4″ scale, plus 25″ Paul Reed Smith and Dobro® Scale.

A very good tool for the price. My only issue, and it’s not really a complaint is that the edges are quite sharp. It just means a little extra care in handling is required.

Essential tool for neck set up . Reasonably priced . Sharp edges are a concern , handle with care .

I used this on two guitars and immediately fixed my neck issues. Solid design and great for the price. I will agree with other reviewers on the sharpness of the notch edges. I plan to fix that so I’m not concerned. Pay a little more and buy from Solo and stay away from the cheaper Amazon offerings. ?

Great value. Well crafted but like others have mentioned the edges are a tad sharp. Use care.

The one drawback, like most of the other reviews state, is that the edges are quite sharp. You do need to be a little careful handling it.
