Highly recommend this fret rocker. The price is fantastic and you get a product that is just as good as any other sold for 4x the price on other websites. I double checked every side of this and it was all dead flat, perfect for fret work.

A quality tool this is! It has weight to it and is very stable. I found 4 frets that needed extra attention. Highly recommend
Stefan Custom Guitars (verified buyer) –
Not the most precise/accurate fret rocker. A couple of the sides are a bit slanted and not perfectly 90 degrees. The price reflects the quality. Machining could be better.

Don’t know what others got but the one I got is a great tool. I gave it to a friend of mine who runs a machine shop he checked it out said it was wright there for accurate. I would say to any who want to do there own set up’s get one.
G Willins (verified buyer) –
Solid, straight fret rocker, serves me well.

No dangerously sharp edges because the the edges and corners have been slightly relieved. NIce and thick. Can’t give it 5 stars because the 2nd longest side is not flat by about a .001″. Checked it against three different PEC precision squares. Still accurate enough for fret rocking.

100 times better than the $5.00 EBay ones.

Yeah there are cheaper ones from amazon . But this one is solid, straight ,and true . You’re buying a gauge to check your frets ……why skimp on a few dollars for accuracy ?
brad.hussey (verified buyer) –
Works — is very flat/true, solidly built. Avoid the cheaper alternatives out there.

A “must have” tool

Well made tool. Would be nice to get fret files built right into it for spot leveling.

This can’t be any good – It doesn’t have fancy engraved markings, or the name, “Stew-You-Know-Who” emblazoned on it . . .LOL.
Seriously though, this is a very nice fret rocker. The SOLO fret rocker is a good weight – not too light, not overly heavy. It’s well machined and free of burrs and sharp edges, so it’s comfortable to hold and use. Still, I recommend caution, because you don’t want to accidentally scratch your frets and/or fretboard. This one is half the price of Stewmaxx . . . I guess branding and engraving are expensive, huh?
