The Solo Neck Support Caul is a simple yet effective tool for use in assisting with inlay work, fretwork, or new fret installs where a fret-press is required. The wooden base is made out of Mahogany and features an anti-slip neoprene padded surface to protect your guitar neck and prevent slipping.

Its a bit thin for a les paul or any guitar that has the neck still on. It is good for removable necks as it’s long and supports the neck well. You have to put a book under it for working with neck on guitars. Great for refretts as that’s what it was designed for.
