This Solo guitar neck is intended as a replacement or DIY project. Neck specifications may have a +/- 1 or 2mm variance. If using this neck with a non Solo body / Solo hardware, slight modifications may be necessary in order to achieve a proper fit.
This neck is unfinished and comes pre-sealed with a poly-resin sealer.

Great neck! Much, much better quality than expected for the price.
After slightly rounding off the edges on the neck heel (it didn’t take much and medium grit sandpaper was enough), the fit on a standard fender body was absolutely perfect. The frets didn’t require any additional work, which was a good surprise!
The radius is flatter than what I am used to, but eventually I found that it made the playing experience less tedious with the heavy baritone strings, since you can set the action very low.
The nut is just ok, but once it is filed to accommodate the heavier string gauges, it does the job – at least until you install a better one.
Important: as mentioned before by other modders, this is NOT a conversion neck. So you might need to slightly alter the neck pocket or reposition the bridge for proper intonation. Since I used a top loader bridge it was easy enough to move it back a little.
Altogether, very happy with my purchase. I should also mention the neck was well packed and protected. Thank you!
