This is an outstanding guitar. The setup is perfect and the hardware is excellent. The gloss body and satin neck finish is great. This guitar easily rivals the same style from other builders for five times the cost. I received the order promptly in 4 days. I have been very pleased with all the products that I purchased from Solo.

For the price, this guitar outperforms a lot of the import models you see in other music stores. The biggest selling point is definitely the roasted maple neck — it feels solid, stable, and far more premium than the price suggests. I picked up the floor model because the neck fit was the best of all the units in the showroom.
At home, I did a bit of fret work and tapped down a few high spots with a fret hammer, but the neck itself is straight and the fret ends are already nicely rounded. The only flaw I noticed was one backplate screw placed too close to the edge, so it only grabs halfway — not a dealbreaker, just a minor QC miss.
If you like a guitar that’s a great platform for upgrades, this one is perfect. I swapped in Solo Pro locking tuners, titanium saddles, and a bronze tremolo block, and removed the backplate. With those upgrades, the guitar looks and feels more expensive than it actually is.

I’m shocked at how good this is. I purchased with the intention of upgrading tuners, pickups, nut, etc. Leaving it as it is. So impressed at the quality for the price.
