It is a sturdy machine but is definitely on the clunky side. I have used other machine presses in the past that are more refined but they also cost 5 X as much.
It is a good value for what it is.

Very good quality, simple to assemble ! Had a question about where a part goes, called the shop and they sent me pictures on where it goes in a matter of minutes. Price was good and free shipping.

There are a lot of presses around but very few that are designed to do fretting, Stew Mac do one and Solo in a portable form. Both presses are nearly identical apart from the colour and the return spring which on the Solo press looks stronger. Even though I live in the UK the press only took about 3 days to reach me with FEDEX. It is well made and good value for the price which is a lot cheaper than Stew Mac and it comes with a pressing adaptor. It comes with a set of Hex keys and a very simple instruction booklet but I would have a look on Youtube as both the Solo press and the Stew Mac one are one there and show how to set it up. At the end of the day its a press likely made by the same company as other Chinese presses including the Stew Mac one all in all a good buy and good service by Solo Music. One thing I would say to Solo Music is please improve the packaging the thin bit of ply put in the by the makers for protection was crushed in shipping, the press was undamaged but it might be something to think about for the future.
