I purchased this solderless guitar kit beginning of 2026. I took my time to set it up and am very pleased with the outcome. It plays very well and was very easy to assemble. after I had it all assembled I found that the volume pot was defective. I contacted Solo and they provided me with excellent service. Within days I received a complete pick guard with all the soldered parts. It now works beautiful. This is my 5th Solo guitar and all are very good instruments. Taking the time to properly assemble them and then set them up well has made me a very happy customer. Something I did this time was buy automotive spray paint from a body shop supplier proved to be invaluable. It goes on easy and dries quickly.
