I used this on the flamed maple veneer top on a LP style kit I bought from Solo Guitars. The color is just what I wanted and expected. I used this as the main color and used a darker color I already had as the outer burst. The top and burst came out beautiful. It gets much darker with each pass, so keep that in mind, but you can get a decent burst effect if you do more passes around the edges without an additional can of a darker color. The can came with two spray tips. I prefer a tip that “fans” out the spray a little more but I was able to use it without any issues after a couple practice sprays. Overall, I’m 100% satisfied because it worked well and I have plenty left over!
