1 review for Solo JMKBAR-1-SD DIY Baritone Electric Guitar Kit With Solderless Electronics

  1. hurley121 (verified buyer) –

Been thinking about doing a kit for years and finally pulled the trigger. Mainly because I was looking for a baritone and thought I might as well see if solo had a kit. They had just released it and was as if the stars had aligned. I had a lot of fun with this kit. The only recommendation I would make to anyone looking to do this kit is to buy a good set of baritone strings like Ernie ball or d’addario as the ones that come with the kit are pretty thick but more importantly there were a couple strings that were too shoot to reach the tuners. Cool that they were included but not great. I’m very happy with the way it turned out and I play it quite a bit.
