The wood was exceptional the mahogany was great to work with. I ran into very little issues with the kit. The only thing being the neck may need a shim to get the action slightly lower, it was still highly playable just not to my liking. I used tung oil on the whole body and neck and the joints were well bonded and barely noticeable which to means high quality jointing. The neck took very little work to get to a level. All in all probably 7 hours of labour with the finishing and I rewired the whole thing with my preferred pots and pick ups. Definitely going to try another build from here hopefully something a little more challenging.

Parts are just fine and body was less work than the P Bass kit. Headstock is cool, but I will reshape to fit my logo .
Electric will change to my favorite EMG. I like the prewired , plug in sets they make. If you have seen an original Fly, this body will look very thick.
Many of these kits need fret end work. So buy some finishing products , not just a file.
