Very good kit, some small problems with the pre drilled holes lining up with the hard ware. The nut was installed upside down. As I said these are small problems. Once the guitar was completed I was very happy with it. Nice to play and it sounds great, action is set low and no buzzing. Sounds and plays just like a traditional telecaster should. Would have given a five star rating if not for the small problems mentioned above. Once I got it set up it makes an excellent guitar
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SOLO.

I have bought 2 kits from Solo and am working on my 3rd. I have been very happy with the kits I’ve purchased, especially the Tele style kits. I am working on my second kit. I have used 2 other companies in the past with varying results. The Solo Tele kits stand out to me because of how easily they went together with very few fitment issues. Also, I was really impressed with the necks. I had to do very little work on the necks, I could set up a nice, low action without fret buzz and the fret ends were not sharp and comfortable to play. The stock pickups sounded really good as well. Great value for the money. The first 2 kits I bought were at the beginning of the pandemic and getting things shipped through customs was taking a lot of time. I was able to communicate with the company and they were great to deal with, especially something that wasn’t their fault, it was just the circumstances of the time.

This was my first attempt to build a guitar from a kit. Everything arrived neatly packed and in good shape. I found the pre-drilled holes to be located well with no major issues regarding alignment, etc.
The fretboard had a minor blemish, as did the body around the binding in a couple locations, but is not really too noticeable. I used a set of strings I had instead of the ones included. They were good to get the first assembly done. Pickups sound good, to me anyway.
Taking time and lots of patience, the guitar looks great, and plays well. I still have to complete a proper setup and will need to look at purchasing some tools for this.
Overall I am impressed with the kit, Solo, and myself.
I would look at purchasing another kit.
