All challenging wood cutting, drilling and shaping is already done professionally, as well as fret leveling and dressing. A detailed manual is included with step by step instructions.

This my 5th guitar kit build from Solo Music and I have enjoyed building an playing every one of them. Makes for a great winter indoor hobby. For me, having prior experience in building a kit guitar this build was pretty straight forward. The fit and finish is every bit as good, in my opinion, as one of the name brand guitars one would pay several thousand dollars more for.
The neck was perfect – no fret leveling or dressing needed and it was spot on straight. For those who have little or no experience with wire soldering, this kit is a great one to get your feet wet with. Simply snap together two wire connections and you are good to go.
I had a little trouble with the tremolo bridge set up but Solo’s online assembly instructions are good and there are lots of on line videos out there to help. Overall, this is a great guitar that will provide many hours of enjoyment.

awesome i really like it but the only issue i have with it is that the tone knobs dont work but everything else works and plays like a dream.

This is a good guitar kit went together easy and looks great the only problem I had with it is they put cheap guitar strings with it and one broke I got it tuned and was playing it for the second time and the smaller string snapped on me I figure they were cheap strings but wanted to try them to find out if I was right well I wasn’t wrong I already had new strings a set of 10-46 regular light XL Nickel strings from D`Addario they are not cheap strings.
