Man wow! what a gorgeous kit! Just unboxed it .All parts were there only a few minor dings on body sanding will take care off …one strap button damaged no biggy . Can’t wait to start this one

Got the kit a few weeks ago. It was a very easy build. All parts were in good condition. Wood was beautiful and the spalted maple really looks great with a Tru-Oil finish. Had to do a few minor tweaks; but that is normal for any guitar kit. Shimmed the neck to get action lower; Changed out the tuning keys for the Solo Locking Tuners-(highly recommend) and for this build I chose to use the stock pick-ups. I just wax potted them again and they sound pretty good clean. They get a little screechy with high gain but acceptable. I have a custom built tele that I never play because the neck is too narrow. I LOVE the modern “C” neck that comes with the Solo guitar kits. Very comfortable and easier on old arthritic hands.. This is my 3rd personal build of a Solo kit (not counting the builds I helped friends with) Never disappointed and if I needed to contact customer service; they were quick with responses and always helpful.
