I really enjoyed putting this kit together! All parts fitted nicely and all drilling accurate. I loved the maple top but the cheaper body was 3 piece and not very attractive. I stained the body and neck with Danish oil. The edge on body I used brown leather spray paint then used 5 coats of clear spray lacquer. I made some mistakes but Im happy. It looks great from 5 ft away! I gave it a good setup with Elixer 10 Guage strings. Electronics are great. The tone and sustain is awesome! I’m vary happy.

Kinda got gob smacked opening up this offering. B stock item with flaws unidentified. Wilkinson bridge with brass barrels. Neck with a flame maple fret board on the near side of stunning. The solderless wiring was a little troubling. One connection had to be soldered because disconnection was required prior to assembly and assembler abused power. I upped to the Wilkinson vintage style tuners to keep with the theme and used some left over tiger eye house paint on the body. I sanded a little heavier on the areas that may have had excessive wear since 1969. This gave a thought to the used not abused theme exposing some bare wood. It got about 3 coats of polycrylic water based satin finish. The thing has its own beauty. I opted for 10-48 ghs strings and the thing just plays and sings like butter. I bought to sell but now have a crush on it.
